Dr. David H. Aizuss
 Dr. David H. Aizuss enjoys wide recognition as one of the premier ophthalmic surgeons in Los Angeles. Other physicians have recognized him with his inclusion in the renowned Guide to Top Doctors.
Dr. Aizuss has been in practice in Encino and West Hills for over 20 years. In that time he has become noted as one of Los Angeles' best-known and most professionally active ophthalmic surgeons having served as Chief of Surgery at Encino Hospital and Vice Chief of Staff of Encino-Tarzana Medical Center.
Dr. Aizuss was educated at Northwestern University Medical School's Honors Program in Medical Education, a highly competitive program open to only 60 students nationwide. He subsequently completed his residency in ophthalmology at the world-renowned UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. Dr. Aizuss is fellowship trained in corneal and refractive surgery at UCLA, with special expertise in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation and all types of refractive surgery.
Dr. Aizuss has been recognized by other ophthalmologists statewide as President of the California Academy of Ophthalmology, President of the Los Angeles Society of Ophthalmology and President of the Los Angeles County Medical Association. He has been honored by the American Academy of Ophthalmology with both its Honor and Senior Honor Achievement Awards. Dr. Aizuss continues actively teaching at the UCLA School of Medicine.
He is sought out as a speaker on new intraocular lens implants and techniques and consults nationwide with other surgeons as well as investment and venture capital companies interested in the latest ophthalmic surgical technology.
Dr. Brad S. Elkins
 Dr. Brad S. Elkins not only specializes in laser vision correction, but he has also had the procedure himself. In 1996, Dr. Elkins became one of the few Fellowship trained refractive surgeons in the country. Dr. Elkins was the first ophthalmologist to perform LASIK in the San Fernando Valley. He has performed about 8,000 LASIK procedures. Of these, over 2,000 have been performed with Intralase. In 2000, Dr. Elkins was awarded the VISX Star Surgeon award given to the top 5% of LASIK surgeons in the United States. Dr. Elkins has also been awarded the "Outstanding Ophthalmologist in the Valley" by the Daily News. He is also one of the premier cataract surgeons in the United States, frequently speaking on modern surgical techniques and new lens implants.
Dr. Elkins graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from UCLA, and he graduated with honors from UC San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed his internship at UCLA and took his residency in ophthalmology at the famed Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. From there, he completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Utah.
He has been a physician instructor for numerous LASIK courses. Today, Dr. Elkins frequently lectures to other physicians on the fine points of LASIK and advanced cataract surgery. Furthermore, he has authored numerous articles on advanced cataract surgery, corneal transplantation and laser refractive surgery. Dr. Elkins was the Medical Director of TLC-Encino from 2003 to 2007.
Dr. Peter D. Zeegen
 As founding partner of Ophthalmology Associates of the Valley, Dr. Peter D. Zeegen has been in practice over thirty years and has performed over fifteen thousand advanced eye surgeries. This makes him one of the most experienced refractive surgeons in the San Fernando Valley.
Dr. Zeegen graduated with honors from UCLA School of Medicine, completed his residency training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute and started his practice in Encino in 1974.
Dr. Zeegen shares the knowledge he has gained with his colleagues, as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute. He has been chief of ophthalmology at Encino-Tarzana medical center, and in addition has been an active member of the admissions committee of the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Zeegen was awarded the Jules Stein Eye Institute Senior Honor Award in recognition of almost 30 years of teaching resident doctors.
His preeminence in ophthalmology is recognized by his position as Chief of Ophthalmology at the Encino-Tarzana Medical Center.
